Wilsons Auctions Cake

This was by far the biggest cake I've done to date. Whilst I've done other three tier cakes, they've not had the amount of fondant models. The cake was commissioned by Wilsons Auctions who celebrated 25 years in business in the Dublin area. The design features the director, Ricky, on top of the cake, behind the auctioneer's rostrum and then a myriad of models showing the vast range of things auctioned by the Dublin branch. There's a bit of artistic licence too - they've not actually auctioned the Mona Lisa but if anyone could, it would be Wilsons Auctions!!!  Wilsons were so delighted with the cake that they retrieved the models and asked me to make a dummy cake that now sits in a case in their Dublin offices!
