Whimsical Confirmation Cake
I was delighted to resurrect this whimsical design for a recent confirmation. The wavy ribbons give a wonderful wibbly-wobbly effect to the cake and the navy fondant pairs so well with the silver edging and silver balls. Of course, to add to its whimsy, there's a little yellow duck guarding the board! Inside there are 5 layers of chocolate sponge filled with chocolate fudge buttercream and covered with a layer of dark chocolate ganache for stability. Congratulations, Avril!!
