Fiona and I started planning this cake quite a while ago. Her wedding seemed so far away! Well, here is the result of our planning. The bottom tier is a 10" luxury chocolate biscuit cakes and the top tier us a 5 layer 8" lemon sponge with lemon buttercream filling and a white chocolate ganache coat for stability underneath the fondant cover. The roses sweep up the cake, interspersed with little bunches of baby's breath and emerald green leaves. Everything is made by hand. Congratulations to Fiona and Francis!
