Zoo cakes are very popular when a number of children celebrate their birthdays together and, to make this cake a little different, I used an airbrush to create a rainbow effect on the top tier. The animals are all made by hand and make for a very interesting collection - particularly the starfish! The bottom tier is an 8" chocolate biscuit cake and the top tier is a 4 layer vanilla sponge filled with Oreo buttercream.
