When Pauline first contacted me to make a cake for her daughter, she was certainly a woman on a mission. She had done her homework by checking out the Signature Cakes section on my website and she was ready with all the details she wanted included on the cake for Lauralee. The challenge was how to represent all the details on the cake but after meeting up, we had figured out how to proceed. The finished cake features aspects from Lauralee's life so far. It was an absolute joy to make the cake and it is one of my favourites to date. Inside there is a 3 layer 10" sponge with dark chocolate ganache filling. All items are handmade and edible.
