Gold Leaf Cake
I made this cake for Laura, who turned 30. Her sister ordered the cake and wanted something pink and girly. Well, this cake is certainly pink and very girly. Inside there is a 5 layer 6" chocolate sponge with Nutella buttercream filling. The roses and baby's breath are all handmade in a delicate shade of pink. Lastly, the gold theme of the balloons and lettering is brought together with some edible gold leaf for a touch of glamour. Happy birthday, Laura!
