I was back to work last week after a lovely two week break and was just delighted to do my first coffin cake - a cake to mark a 30th birthday and the official passing of youth!!! The cake itself is a 4 layer 10" x5" chocolate sponge with Kinder buttercream filling. Sitting on a marble "floor", the casket was spray painted with edible paint to give an effective sheen.
