Butterfly Rainbow Cake
A rainbow baby's first birthday is a very special time and, therefore, a very special cake is called for. This cake was 4 layers of 6" chocolate sponge, filled with real chocolate buttercream. It was then decorated with sugar-paste panels in pastel rainbow colours. Colourful butterflies flutter up and above the cake, complemented by simple flowers and scrolling rainbows.
