Retirement Cake
This cake was a great challenge! I was asked to design and make a retirement cake for retiring electrician, Hubert. His daughter also wanted the cake to reflect his interest in farming. What I came up with was a dual cake - electrical on top and farming on the sides! On top there are boots, a screwdriver, a voltmeter [reading Hubert's age!], a roll of cable, and a pair of snips. The sides of the cake represent the hedgerows and fields where the bullocks are kept. Of course, a tractor was needed too - made from Rice Krispies mixed with melted marshmallows.
