Loaf of Bread Cake
There is a meme on social media about January birthdays. Basically, it shows how people born in this month tend to lose out after all the extravagances of Christmas. The meme shows a loaf of bread with candles and the customer wanted this recreated in cake!
Inside the fondant covering there are 8 layers of moist 8" chocolate sponge, sandwiched with real chocolate buttercream. To give texture to the fondant covering, I used edible paint applied with my airbrush. Certainly one of the most unusual orders I've received and definitely one of the most fun to make!!!
