Flame Boot Cake
As you can imagine, there's quite a back story to this cake. A teenage boy dreamed of having a pair of flame boots. As he grew into a man in his late thirties, the dream never left him so his wonderful mother ordered this cake. It was carved from layered chocolate sponge with chocolate ganache filling. Once carved, it was then wrapped in fondant to resemble the boot. Adorned with flames, laces and even a polished-leather effect, the boot certainly brought smiles to the customer.
